Child Safety Standards
At YearBook Inc, we are committed to safeguarding the privacy and safety of children using our Service. This section outlines our strict policies and features designed to prevent child exploitation and ensure a safe and secure experience for all users.

Our app implements robust systems and practices to prevent child exploitation and protect user-generated content. The following measures are in place:
- Moderation: All publicly shared content, including yearbooks and profile information, is heavily moderated using automated systems and manual reviews to detect and prevent illegal activities, exploitation, and online fraud.
- Access Control: Users can control who can view, edit, or comment on their yearbooks. Yearbooks are not public by default and can only be shared with specific users via unique links or usernames.
- Privacy Settings: Users can customize their privacy settings to determine who can see their profile picture and other shared content.
- Encrypted Communication: All non-public data, including chat messages and yearbook content, is encrypted during transmission and storage to prevent unauthorized access.
2. Chat and Social Features
To ensure user safety, the chat feature is restricted to connections where both parties have mutually agreed to be friends. This reduces the risk of unwanted interactions and promotes secure communication.
3. Reporting and Reviews
Users can report concerns related to child exploitation, illegal activities, or policy violations directly to our team:
- Via Email: Send your concerns to [email protected].
- In-App Reporting (Production Version): In the production version of our app, users will have access to a built-in reporting tool to flag inappropriate content or behavior directly within the app.
Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, and appropriate actions are taken promptly to address violations.
4. Children Under 13
Our Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or process personal data from users under 13. If we become aware of such data being collected without parental consent, it will be promptly deleted.
5. Compliance and Systematic Checks
As part of our commitment to safety, we may conduct systematic checks on user updates if flagged for potential violations of our policies. These checks are conducted with full respect for user privacy and adhere to encryption and data protection standards.

Publicly shared yearbooks and profiles are accessible only to users with the correct link, ID, or username. Public content is encrypted during transit and heavily moderated to prevent exploitation or abuse. Any flagged content is reviewed and removed if it violates our guidelines.
